Connecting to an ODBC data source

Select Data Source

To access this dialog:

  • From the Data Import dialog, select the [ODBC] Driver Category and Data Type. If a block model type was selected, enter the parameters in the Block Model Parameters dialog and click OK.

  • From the Data Import dialog, select the [ODBC] Driver Category and Data Type. If a block model type was selected, enter the parameters in the Block Model Parameters dialog and click From Database....

Displayed when an ODBC data source connection is attempted, this dialog allows you to configure settings required for data export/import.

This dialog contains the following tabs:

  • File Data Source: select the file data source that describes the driver that you wish to connect to. You can use any file data source that refers to an ODBC driver which is installed on your machine. More...
